Mother’s Day is a special day, for all children and mothers as, it celebrates the everlasting love between them. Brightland college celebrated this special day on 11th May on its campus by inviting all mothers of our pre-primary and primary students, with jubilation and zeal. The venue was aptly decorated in keeping with the theme. The program began with the sacred ceremony of lighting the lamp. The students presented a myriad of programs in honor of their mother. Group dance, song, skit and much more. The Director of the college Mrs. Reena Manas addressed all the mothers and wished them for their selfless love and services in the welfare of society. She described a mother’s love, her caring attitude towards her children, as a lifeline of their life. She also encouraged the children to be imbibed with virtuous deeds and resort to ethical ways to grow into a good human being.
In the honor of the mothers and to create memories the college had organized various funfilled competitions also for them like kitchen Queen, Mehandi, Hairstyling and Ramp Walk. The mothers as participants enthusiastically participated in it. For judging few famous dignitaries from the fashion world, culinary , NGO’s were invited. Mrs. Ranjita and Mrs. Neelima Kapoor well-renowned chef in the culinary world adjudged the Kitchen Queen Competition. The Ramp Walk was judged by Mrs. Kopal Arora, belonging to the fashion world. Mehandi and Hair Styling were judged by Mrs. Anita Mitra, Mrs. Asha Agarwal, and Mrs. Madhu Verma.
The mothers were so excited to perform that it seemed as if their childhood had retreated.
The results were announced and gifts were given to the winners.
All in all it was an enjoyable and memorable day for all.
