Brightland School Pedagogy: What makes us different?
Brightland School |
“The importance of a clear set of actions helps us
achieve our goals, and that is where an effective pedagogy comes in!”
By pedagogy,
we mean the dynamic relationship between learning, teaching and culture. For
many teaching is simply a profession where knowledge is being transmitted by
the teacher and the role of the students is to receive it without question. But
for us, Teaching is a two-way process, where in we don’t only impart knowledge
but even get a whole of it in return.
As
parents and teachers, we are aware that education is much more than learning
and examinations. Built on a foundation of Trust, Love, Joy, Listening and
Caring for each Child, Brightland School is committed to providing much more than mere
bookish knowledge. True education begins with knowing and understanding the
child. We recognize each child as an individual being with his or her own
special set of strengths and talents.
Our primary
ideas are to develop a wholesome foundation for students which would help them
in being an ideal citizen and a better human being. We develop in them the much-needed soft skills of self-confidence, commitment & diligence.
Our values
are based on age-old concepts of education, but we have molded those so that
our children can meet the challenges of the future. Hence, Brightland!
